Stretch, they say.
Try something new, they say.
Leave your comfort zone, they say.
I have several drawing/painting apps on Tablet.
I’ve gotten comfortable with Sketchbook Pro but the others are still uncharted territory.
So I tried Infinite Painter.
Let me preface this with I am NOT a painter.
Although I guess you could figure that out for yourself, LOL!
(Not that I was aiming for it, but he looks a little like Alec Guinness doesn’t he?)
But it did give me a chance to play with the different brushes and see what they can do.
I’m not sure if the app is ‘buggy’ (sometimes they are) but I had some issues with it.
Maybe it’s just me being ‘technology challenged’!
I’m sure someday I’ll figure it all out.
I guess I could just use it when I'm channeling Picasso!

To bring you THIS:
I have made many lovely friends here in the blogosphere. Some I have come to know in real life.
One such wonderful friend gifted me with, as she put it, just a ‘few little things’.
We were supposed to get together on her last visit to Florida but due to circumstances beyond our control it didn’t happen.
So she popped them in the mail.
Maybe it was a good thing because I would have hugged the stuffing out of her in gratitude!
I have a Harrods bag!
Did you hear that? A Harrods bag!
Not only have I always longed to go to Harrods (my Grandpa used to tell me stories from his youth about Harrods) but now I actually OWN a Harrods bag!
And it’s PINK! (AND it looks uncannily like my favorite pair of pink flannel jammies I had when I was seven!)
The minute I opened the package I was flooded with memories of those warm, cuddly PJ’s!
AND a Harrods mug! I will have to remember to hold my pinkie up when I drink from it!
AND yummy scented soap! (Also pink! I see a theme here!)
And these two tea towels!
One is funny….
And the other is a beautiful compilation of watercolors of Kent where she's from.
All I can say is if it wasn’t for the ‘internets’ (LOL) we never would have met and become BFF’s and I would never have gotten to have A PINK HARRODS BAG! (I might have to sleep with it tonight like I used to do when I was little with my favorite Christmas presents!)
THANK YOU CORINNE! FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY TICKLED PINK LITTLE HEART!
I never thought in a million years I’d ever say this but……......... I’m getting tired of making faces!
I’m losing my face mojo……the muse has left the building…….and it shows.
Husband said if I’m not having fun I can stop, but I promised myself I’d do the WHOLE month.
And I’m just obstinate enough to stick it out!
Good thing there are only four more days!
So here is lousy #24…..LOL

I do most of my sketching on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet using Sketchbook Pro. It was a deep learning curve when I first got it, at least for me. I’m not sure if it was a ‘left-handed’ thing, a new technology/being ‘old’ thing, or I’m just slow, LOL. I took this challenge as a way to push my comfort with it. Getting to know the different ‘brushes’ and tools the app offers. This one I used the ‘horizontal symmetry tool’.

I was intrigued by the idea of the ‘upside-down’ sketches that Coreopsis is doing for the 29 Faces challenge.
So I thought I’d give it a go.
I love the way they are just a little wonky.
(and I finally did something that doesn't look like 'my style'!)
