It is not quite Mother's day here on the West Coast...but I am looking forward to a day together with my mother (and dad, and hubby and my kids) - a picnic and a walk to a hill we go to every year on this very day. We have been doing it for more than 20 years. Often times it is too cold to actually picnic, but we try!
