 ....for the hosiery commercial weren't going as expected.....

 More legs, of course! 

I Like to Draw Legs.....

 .....yes I do! 

Which, of course, made me think of the lyrics to Baby Got Back (because that's the way my twisted mind works) ....you know, ♫♪♫♪♫♪ I like big butts.....♫♪♫♪♫♪

Except in my case I like to draw legs.....

And once is never enough, right? 

Husband said I should title this one "Waiting to Vote 2020"  

I think that's a perfect title!

Focus Girl, Focus!

I'm all over the place lately. Art wise I mean. I can't seem to focus on one thing and follow it through to the finish. I flit from one idea to the next as they pop into my head. 

This was to be the beginning of a comic.....

On the other hand maybe that's okay. If I can get the ideas down on paper I can always revisit them and form them into something cohesive later......maybe......SQUIRREL! 

It’s Not Cheating, Its A Tool

My mother used to tell me “You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, you know.”

She was right. Why reinvent the wheel when you can cut and paste it in Photoshop! LOL

I enjoy sketching with pen and paper but I also love to draw digitally. Neither one is superior to the other. Both take skill and knowledge (and practice……lots and lots of practice.)

And I love how I can use both to blend into a new whole.

(They needed something to look at!)

Not sure if I'm going to keep up for Inktober but thought I'd give it the 'ole college try.

Not using prompts or trying to do it daily, just freewheeling it.....we'll see how it goes.

(and yes, it's okay to 'recycle'....lol.)

Sometimes a Girl Needs to Ruminate

My report cards were always full of comments saying "Daydreams during class".  

So I looked up other words for daydreaming and when the teacher scolded me I answered I wasn't daydreaming I was ruminating! 

I thought I was very clever.....apparently they didn't agree!
