You didn't! This looks absolutely fabulous! Once the dust and digital frustration have settled down you'll do it again. You SHOULD do it again. I love the clean line drawings and the hand lettering. Well done.
I love - and quote - that verse too! Especially to my Sophia…who can be horrid in the best possible way. When Hillary was little I answered the phone while my free standing mixer was going full blast. She was on a stool helping and the next thing I knew…a hank of hair pulled out of her head and wound at the top of the beaters. We still ate the cake…and her hairstyle for at least a year…was to have a lopsided ponytail with hair gathered up to hide the bald spot. LOL! It wasn't funny then…but looking back…hahahahahahahahaha.
I love reading your stories and looking at your drawings…and am sure this would be a great read!
Congratulations on getting it done…and figuring out that you don't want to do another. Now you know.
And, if my memory serves me, I think I remember the story about your undies from the blog…so IF you ever wanted to do another Zine…you could draw from a wealth of art right here from your blog!
Your great stories and they way you tell them combined with your wonderful drawings have been delighting many of us here in blogland - and now it is available in print - stories and images - with great layout and design (including wrapping the text) - Wahoo! Congratulations it looks amazing. I keep toying with the idea of making a zine - but I keep pushing the thought away.
