Let’s discuss the use of what were, in my day, popular songs
being used in today’s commercials.
First of all….if you had told me when I was a teen ‘rockin
out’ to my tunes that they would someday be the soundtrack to car commercials
aimed at aging baby boomers I would have laughed in your face.
And yet……
They take songs that I once loved and make them the soundtrack
to pretentious cologne commercials.
And now I hate them!

ReplyDeleteWe didn't sell out to "the man". We grew up (old) and became "the man". Deep sigh.
