My Apologies, CJ......

....and all those living in northern climes......

Spring is springing around here...in between the FRIGID temperatures.

Don't ask me what it is....Husband often tosses odds and ends into the less 'viewed' beds just to see what will happen.......It didn't do any flowering for YEARS and now it seems to be happily blooming, enjoying the neglect.
Whatever it is, it smells REALLY nice!

  1. No good asking me what this plant is, I only recognise daffodils and daisies!! but OH, what a pretty flower you have on this shrub/plant/tree (see, said I had no ideas), plus it smells good too, win win.

  2. I don't know what it is either but it looks pretty and even better when it smells good. Enjoy those first signs of spring, Robin!

  3. No, don't apologize. As Col. Brittles (John Wayne) says in "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon: Never apologize. It's a sign of weakness. =^,.^= And in this case, unnecessary. It's wonderful to see a bit of color and to dream of warmer weather. It's coming. We might reach 50 tomorrow! Thanks for the breath of Spring.

  4. Yes there are signs of spring showing here in UK amongst the cold and very wet weather if you look closely

  5. Yipeee! I'm fairly sure it's a Camellia! I thought they only grew in areas where it got cold ... which may be why it hasn't bloomed until now. Guess it got a good dose of cold this winter. Those I had in Virginia bloomed all winter long...so it's right on time... IF it is indeed a Camellia.
