Yup, it’s true. I’ve been to the North Pole.
I saw Santa, his elves, his reindeer and his workshop!
And I’m here to tell you that the North Pole is ACTUALLY a
pole!
Made of ice.
And every child licks it!
YUCK!
I can’t even begin to imagine the germs on that thing. But it was all part of
the experience when you went to the North Pole, which was a sort of amusement
park in New York State when I was a kid. (I'm not sure but it might still be there!)
Looking back I’m surprised the health department didn’t at
least put a fence around the pole so we couldn’t lick it! LOL
Santa, me and an elf. (I have no idea who the other kids are! LOL) the date on the back says 7/'58 (Geez I'm old!) |
We were tough in those days. Bike riding without a helmet. Rollerskating without helmets, knee, elbow, and wrist pads. A few billion germs wouldn't have hurt us.
