I don’t know what it is about telephone poles with their
electric lines, insulators and transformers, cell phone towers and electric
sub-stations that fascinate me.
But they do!
Sometimes I have Husband drive around town just so I can
photograph them for future use.
I love to sketch them!
I like to sketch them in Tablet and then import the sketch
into Photoshop and add a ‘watercolor’ background.
I see where you are coming from with these...they do look interesting. Some of our telegraph poles have large glass circles on them which I'm sure would have some other great use one day, trouble is they're always on the poles and never discarded - shame. Have to say, I know I have said it before and I will say it again, but you are brilliant with your tablet drawings :-)
ReplyDeleteCool! I also love the way birds hang out on the wires. Fascinating and creepy at the same time
ReplyDeleteWow! You sure have a knack for this. I LOVE 'em!
ReplyDeletethese are great! i love all the little details you have added. You know, i never notice power lines at all until there are hundreds of birds sitting on them!!
ReplyDeleteThese drawings are great. You have so much detail in them. I would find it challenging to draw these from photos. They would require a lot of patience and attention to detail. You've done brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteMe too! But I can't draw them like you do, these are so beautiful.
ReplyDeletePylons, wind mills, iron fences, old lifts...all worth photographing!
I think I've said this before…but you have a real knack for making the ugly look fantastic.
ReplyDeletePretty! I love these!
